When is the 2014 Chicago 10K?

What do I get with my entry?

All participants will receive an official Chicago 10K shirt, finisher medal, bib number, and B-Tag ChronoTrack timing device with their Goodie Bag.


When and where is Packet Pick-Up?

There are 3 options for picking up your race packet:

1.) Pick up your race packet in person the week prior to the race at:

Fleet Feet Sports – Old Town
1620 N Wells Street
Chicago, IL 60614

Friday, August 8 (12:00pm – 8:00pm)
Saturday, August 9 (10:00pm – 7:00pm)

2.) Have a friend or family member pick up your packet for you the week prior to the race at Fleet Feet Sports – Old Town (location, dates and times listed above).

3.) VIP Race Day Packet Pick-Up. 
For $10.00 per race packet, you can pick up your packet on race day before the event. You can sign up for this service during the registration process.

Please note: Only those who register for VIP Race Day Packet Pick-Up will be able to pick up their packet on race day.


Is the Chicago 10K walker friendly?

Yes, the Chicago 10K is walker friendly. Participants must maintain a 15:00 mile pace and complete the race in 1 hour 30 minutes.


Where will the Aid Stations be located?

Aid Stations will be located at miles 2, 4, and 6 (finish line).


What is not allowed on the course?

Due to USATF regulations and safety concerns, the following items are not allowed on the course: baby strollers, inline skates, skateboards, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, and dogs.


Does the Chicago 10K offer pace teams?

No, the Chicago 10K does not offer pace teams.


When will race results be posted?

Race results will be available online at www.chicago10k.com and e-mailed to all participants within 24 hours after the race.
